Your life is the way it is for a reason. Have you ever asked yourself why things are the way they are? Why you lost that job? Why that relationship didn’t work out? Maybe it wasn’t the right time or wasn’t the right thing God wanted for you. God has a plan for your life and He wants you to know the plan He has for you. How do you find that out? All my life, nothing felt right. Nothing was going the way I had planned. I wanted an art career, that went down the drain because I never practiced my art. I thought I wanted to be a teacher, but I don’t like other people’s kids (no offense to all the parents out there). But the thing is, God isn’t finished with me yet. I am a work in progress and a masterpiece, my life story is still being written. So, who knows… I could still become a teacher or something, just depends on what God wants for me. It scares me a little, but, if your future doesn’t scare you, then tell me your secrets lol, because not knowing what my future holds is terrifying.

That is an amazing song if you are really struggling with giving God full control of your life. Trust me, I am still trying to give Him control every day. But you need to give Him ALL control. One thing I have trouble giving up is dating. I want a husband, a family. I’m only 20 and I know that’s young and I have my whole life ahead of me but that is my biggest dream. And I am getting impatient. But I keep telling myself that God will give me my heart’s desire, and He will, but when?? I just have to be patient… which is hard to do when I have friends getting married and having kids. But again, I’m only 20. God’s plan for my life is huge and I cannot wait for what He has in store for me
